Incorrect Billing

I contacted Xfinity in December 2025 regarding my rates.  A discount was about to expire and I wanted to negotiate a new rate.  As part of that discussion, I asked if I could establish a rate that would remain the same throughout calendar year 2026.  We agreed to a plan and was issued an email agreement to sign that included a discount for 12 months that would result in a stable rate for 2026.  I have the documentation including the email agreement and a copy of the transcript of the chat that established that agreement.  The rate remained the same for the next 3 months.  The rate was increased by approximately 25% for the May 2026 billing period.  I contacted Xfinity about the failure to keep their December 2026 agreement and asked for my rate to be corrected.  After much discussion by chat and phone, a credit was issued to reduce the bill to the originally agreed to December rate.  The June statement arrived and the increased rate returned.  I initiated another chat to asking Xfinity to honor their agreement and another credit was applied with the promise that this would get fixed for future billings.  The July statement arrived and the increased rate returned.  I initiated yet another chat to asking Xfinity to honor their agreement and another credit was applied with the promise that this would get fixed for future billings. I have copies of the chat transcripts where these promises were made.  Now I'm seeing the statement again with the same increased rate and it is now time to escalate this ongoing problem to someone that has the authority to get Xfinity/Comcast to honor their agreements.  The cost of time of Xfinity's agents must far exceed the amount of these manually issued credits.  All I asked for is a stable rate for 12 months and I've been told by a number of agents unwilling to help that it is simply due to expiring discounts and there is nothing they can do.  When confronted with these roadblocks, I simply initiate another chat until someone at least fixes the problem for the current bill.  In summary, there is an agreement that was not honored and phone/chat agents that both stonewall the problem or issue temporary fixes. No one has come forward that has been empowered to fix the ongoing problem.  So the cycle will continue until I transition to another service provider and put Comcast behind me forever.
