Incorrect billing for 4/2025

I canceled my cable tv subscription on 3/16 and returned all boxes and  remotes on 3/20. I kept an internet plan but switched from 500 mbps to the 1gb, so i have also returned the old modem and have received the new one. As a result of those cancellations and changes my new monthly bill should be around $70. 
issues:

i have received my April bill for $226 which reflects the return of the equipment but not the cancellation for the triple play tv subscription. 
i have heard that changes won’t be reflected till a new statement is printed, but that means i would have to pay $226 intead of $70. No matter how you look at it, it doesn’t seem right.

i have also paid for the entirety of the 3/25 bill but changed took effect on 3/16. When will i get a credit? 
I would appreciate very much if i could get a detailed explanation of your billing system, and most importantly i don’t want to pay $226 for services that i didn’t receive for the month of April.
