I was promised $20 discount on my internet plan if I added a mobile service
Back in May 2022 I was offered a deal where if I added a mobile service, I would get a $20 discount on my internet bill. Thinking it was a great deal, I confirmed multiple times with the customer service agent that I would only be paying $60 for my internet if I signed up. She confirmed multiples times and so I agreed.
5 months later, I’m still paying $80 per month and after number times of contacting them, I was told that the issue was resolved and I would see the change reflected on my next bill. Next bill comes, and it’s still $80. Tried connecting them via chat and would consistently get transferred over 20 times in the 2-3 hours span that I would have to spend to get an answer, but would only get empty promises. Now I’m being told that my plan is not eligible for the discount? This is ridiculous.
I have been lied to on numerous occasions and I’m just so fed up with this. How do I get this resolved?

Surprise surprise.
I private messages the Support team who said they would look into my issue. Told me they would get back to my by Wednesday. They said, “Know that you will be taken care of here with our digital care. We are best in class when it comes to customer services and work directly for our corporate office nationally. :) We got your back!”
No one got back to me, so I had to do follow-up and not they’re telling me that I have to contact someone else.
Once again, I’m being passed around because no one is competent enough to fix the issue.
This is so frustrating.

This seems to be an Xfinity scheme. I signed up for the 1.2GB home internet plan and mobile plan almost two years ago. The promotion was $20 off my home service +$10 autopay which =$30 in discounts.
I never received the $20 promotion discount. I've called almost every month to adjust my bill but only received the $10 autopay discount. This past weekend after finding out that the new mobile plans are throttled, I called customer service and they transferred me back and forth between the home and mobile departments. I'm so disgusted with Xfinity that I canceled my mobile plans. I'm trying to get the $20 discount for the time I had both services, but the customer service keeps promoting the $20 discount if I add back the mobile line. Keep in mind the $20 discount will start being credited in 2-3 months after signing up. So they say.

I just got off a call with the 18th -19th representative (I lost count) about the same problem! They promised me the $20 discount towards my internet bill if I use xfinity mobile and the discount would appear within 90 days after I activate the mobile service. Apparently, no discount was ever applied! I called/chatted with several representatives. They all promised it would appear in the next billing cycle and keep transferring me back and forth between internet and mobile division. Most recently, I talked to a guy and he said I was not eligible for the $20 discount because I did not activate my mobile service within 90 days of my internet service order! That's completely different from what the other guy told me from the beginning. I would never have made the switch to xfinity mobile if that's the case because my internet service had started long ago! I feel like I got scammed and looks like many other people are getting scammed! I'm terminating all contracts with them after my iPhone promotion is over! Ridiculous!
