I received text messages from a debt collector, but I have no service and no outstanding bills

Hello,

I received a text message from a debt collector:

"[Edited: "Personal Information"]" but I have no Comcast service (I have had it in the past) and I don't have any outstanding payments to make (I confirmed this in the chat).

Can you please advise? What should I do? Is this scam, or an identity theft?

Thanks,

Alessandra

I am also getting texts by Harris X Harris debt collector, I cancelled my services and went through half a dozen times with the customer service, all promising me that they will fix it especially because I have proof of cancelling services before getting billed again. I was told by the customer service when I did cancel to turn auto pay off and card info off so that I wont be charged. Couple months later I get these messages from Xfinity that I havent been paying my bills... what? I literally got the confirmation that it is cancelled and everything and you guys are charging me 150 dollars just to steal my money. When I asked about it I was told that my request to cancel the services was cancelled by me... I never did that and have the confirmation that the cancelation was in progress as well. Every time I call they just stall and waste my time to make empty promises that they will fix the issue, just to literally lie and never send me a ticket or updates. I have transcripts and emails of everything for proof too.
