I need to speak to a live agent concerning my bankruptcy case as it pertains to my Xfinity account

I need to submit my bankruptcy documents to Xfinity and I need an email address to send this to.  My account is past due and interruption is soon approaching.   I have never filed for bankruptcy before and I need to secure my service and speak to someone how to also secure my account and set up arrangements and exactly what steps to take moving forward.   Please help.  Thank you!

To send a Direct Message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Messaging chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

I don’t know or understand where to go to perform these steps at all.  There is a message icon on the lower right of my screen which takes me to the same place when I typed this message to you.  Or a pencil and paper icon and from there it only asks to select a person?!?!

user_h02mis Once you're logged in, you'll find the DM icon in the top right corner of the page. It should be next to the bell icon.

Please don't create more than one thread regarding your issue.  You now have had 4 different Official Employees respond to your various threads, taking them away from other customers that need their help.

If you haven't already found the direct message icon, it's in the upper right corner to the left of the bell, which is to the left of your avatar.  It looks like this:

If you don't see that, then you need to check to see if you have DM's turned off:

To check if your direct messaging is turned on, click on your Profile Avatar in the upper right corner and then on Profile Settings.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page and if Opt Out From Direct Messaging is checked uncheck it and then click on Save.
