I just added the $30 Unlimited data plan to my account.

So, I have my own modem and router that I wanted to keep. I only needed to increase my data plan because I went over my data usage limit this month and was always keeping it barely under the line. I upgraded to the unlimited plan yesterday. When I checked today, the extra $10 charge for overusing the data was gone. The current bill due in June also does not reflect the added cost. I was wondering if the $30 increase will show up on my next bill in July. Or is everything still being updated and taking time to show up on the current bill due in June?

-Thank You-

This is a great question, @BJH0070. The switch to the unlimited plan will cover any usage associated with the month that you signed up. For example, if you just signed up this month (May), the switch will cover any usage for the month of May. The changes in billing can take anywhere from 24-48 hours to be updated in the billing system and it can take up to 1 billing cycle for the changes to be updated on your end (Xfinity MyAccount app or https://comca.st/3a3xLOF). With that said, I do see that we received your Direct Message in regard to your other inquiry and it will be my pleasure to review your account with you in order to see if the change has been updated on our end.

@XfinityLuis

Thank you for responding. I was a bit confused about the first part that you said. So, will I be paying for my usage in May even though I only used the plan for two days (May 30th and May 31st)? If so, will I be charged $30 twice ($60) on my June bill because of my usage this month?

I apologize for the confusion. Your usage for the month of May will be covered by the enrollment in the new plan. When it comes to the charges on your next bill, I have responded to you in our Direct Message in regard to what our next steps will be. Please respond to me there so that we can keep you up to date on this matter. I appreciate your patience and I look forward to your response.
