I have returned my cable boxes Aug 2022 and my WIFI Router April 2024 still being charged.

I have returned all equipment that was owned by Comcast and I am still being charged for them.  I continue to use and pay for the internet, I own my modem.  My bill for Aug 2022 reflects the return of the cable box and a bill for it is not present there.  It jumps back on my bill the next month Sept 2022 and I have been paying $10 per month since.  I DO NOT HAVE THE BOX.  It is obvious it was returned otherwise it wouldn't have been taken off my bill for Aug 2022.

I returned my Xfinity router/WIFI combo April 2024 and I am still being charged $25.  I own my own modem.  I shouldn't be charged $25 for Xfi complete.

Why am I still being charged?

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Peer to peer" / "Private chat message" message to Xfinity Support:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon or https://comca.st/3wjbsKk

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

•  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

•  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

So Comcast ended up acknowledging I returned the TV box in Aug 2022 and removed it from my account.  They also removed the Xfi from my account.  But, and it's a big but, they would only credit my account with $40 instead of $200.  We paid $200 over 20 months because Comcast didn't remove the set-top box from my account.  I still don't know how this fall on me to eat the charge.  It's like a slap in the face.  I'm currently looking for alternatives for mobile phones and internet service now.  I'll probably be stuck with Comcast. Seeing how they treated me it must be that they are the only provider in my area and know they can get away with it.  I understand I should have checked my bill, but if you're charging me for something I returned and trusted you to remove from my account it doesn't make sense.  Don't act like you're doing me a favor by removing 20% of the charge.  I hope I find a good company to switch to.

I completely understand wanting all the charges credited @feelinloose. As part of the Xfinity Residential Services agreement, 120 days of the charges for the box were credited. The remaining charges were outside the window they can be credited. We’d truly regret seeing you go as a result of these unreturned equipment charges.
