I have been getting charged since December for services I did not add
In December 2023, I moved into a new apartment where the XFinity Internet was supposed to be billed to us through the rent. When the guy came to set up the service, he offered XFinity Voice and we told him we did not want that. We only wanted the internet service as we do not have a landline. Since that day, we have been getting billed for the phone service. A few months ago, my internet service had been cut off for non-payment. I called to speak with a representative about this issue. They stated that I would have to make a full payment and after that they would credit my account for the overpayments I have been making. That credit was never given nor was a refund or anything. I kept getting billed for the XFinity Voice. Today, we are being billed yet again for this service that we never wanted and have never used. I am currently on the phone with a representative who is trying to help in the best way possible. He is stating that my account can be credited only for the last 4 months of payment even though we have been making payments since December. It is now July 2024. Since this service started, I have paid a total of $390.11 for services I did not want and have not used. This is ridiculous and everyone that I know that has dealt with XFinity has had some type of issue. It makes no sense that my Internet is constantly being cut off and I'm being charged reactivation fees and late fees damn there every month all because of a service that wasn't supposed to be included in the first place.
The representative that I just got off the phone with is very helpful. He is trying to process the credit for the last 4 months, but he cannot get a hold of his supervisor. Now, I am being told that I will receive a call back once he gets a hold of his supervisor. I still am not happy. I am grateful for the past 4 months of credit, however, it is not fair that I am only being credited for 4 months of payment when I've been paying since December. I would like a full refund or full credit for all of the money I have been paying to XFinity.
