I did not sign up to upgrade my plan but received an email saying that i upgraded

I received an email saying that I upgraded my plan and that my bill will be twice as much starting next month. I did not sign up for an upgrade to my plan. I signed up for a 2 year promotional deal and it has been less than a year. I cannot get ahold of anyone via email, phone, or the 'chat agent' to fix this problem. Please respond with how to fix this error.

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

How do we ever reach an actual person once we are a customer? This scares me. I think you have to borrow a phone from someone else that doesnt have xfinity then pretend you are a new customer and that is the only real way to reach someone. Good luck!
