I could never get the discount?!

I am full of complaints now! When I was opening my account the receptionist told me I could get the $10 discount if I set autopay by my credit card, so I let him set autopay for me just at the reception desk. But I was notified to pay the full bill ($49.99), I spent 10 mins to get the agents on the phone who told me that I should have to set paperless before I can get the discount. But no one told me before! Then I did what the agents told me and I was expecting I got the $10 discount. But I just got the bill it is still $49.99!! Tell me, why? Why Xfinity always eat the word?!?!?!

What they're not telling you is that the discount doesn't kick in until the 3rd bill or 45 days after you sign up for autopay and ecobill.  We have no idea why they always leave that little tidbit out, but rarely is a customer told about the delay.
