I changed plans, and now my "upcoming charges" say I'll have to pay full price for both the old and new plans.

I recently changed my phone and internet plans to cheaper options, but I noticed that my upcoming charges were higher than ever. Looking into it, it seems I'm being charged for both the old plans and the new ones. Will this fix itself once everything is installed, or will I have to pay the higher bill?

Thank you for reaching out to our team here. Normally if you make an account change during a billing cycle the amount due will correct itself after the order closes. If the auto-pay amount is over the amount due you would see a pro-rated credit on the following months statement. I can look at you account from here if you can send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
