I cancelled my service and Xfinity wants to charge me for the next month and they didnt cancel my service.

I cancelled my service and Xfinity wants to charge me for the next month.

I planned for my service to be canceled on December 16 the end of my service and am being charge for the next month in which i shouldn't have service. I see they do this to a ton of people as this forum is full of people complaining about Xfinity charging people without service. I even have the work order number that they gave me from that phone call: [Edited: "Personal Information"] and I got an email confirmation even though it was missing last day of service for some super shady reason!!!

@user_fyvumf I know it can be a bit confusing when you disconnect an account. The way our system works is that when you request a date for disconnecting that is the last date you will pay for services. Now the actual disconnection of services can take 1-10 business days to complete the disconnection work order. We have this in place in case anyone wants to cancel the pending work order due to a delay in a move or a customer changes their mind about disconnecting. While this happens a new billing cycle may print. If that happens, and you are on autopay it may or may not charge your payment method for service. But once your final billing statement prints if you had any over payment would be refunded to your payment method. I would be happy to take a look at the account.
