I canceled my account, why did I receive a new bill?!

Thanks for reaching out to our community, I can see where there may be some confusion. Depending on which day of your billing cycle you closed the account can determine if the changes are reflected on the next generated statement. If you look along the top of the bill itself it will have the service dates it is reflecting the charges below for. If those dates are for the upcoming month, then that bill can be disregarded as the final bill showing the closing date and any prorated charges are still to be generated. If there is any Xfinity equipment that was provided, that is encouraged to be returned as soon as possible to avoid any unreturned equipment fees that can apply. 

 

When you review that PDF of the recently received statement, does it show the service dates for the future or state the date the account was closed in the billing details?
