How to speak not chat with a live agent

I have been trying to speak with a live agent in customer care or customer service. Why is that so hard. How can I speak not chat with a live person

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_1fn36w! Our phone number is 1 800 XFINITY (934 6489). When you call, you’ll start with our automated system, which will ask a few questions to understand why you’re calling and authenticate your account.

 

If you’re having technical issues, the system may send signals to your equipment first to try and fix the problem. In some cases, it may end the call after sending those signals and then reach back out by text or phone to confirm whether the issue was resolved. If not, it will route you to the next available specialist.
