How to refund overcharged money

I terminated my Xfinity Wifi service on Oct/23 and returned the device on that day, however this week I received a bill charged me the service fee from OCT 21, 2024 - NOV 20, 2024, which is a full month. So how do I get my overcharged money redunded back? And it is so hard to contact Xfinity service team, there is no contact email at all, and it's almost impossible to reach your service team directly.

Hi there @user_xtcwkh. Thank you so much for reaching out to us regarding the bill you recently received. One common issue we see is that customer might have canceled the service after the monthly bill had been generated. I am happy to take a look at the account for you and see if this is the reason. 

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
