How to lower skyrocketing bills?

I use my TV and internet 8 months out of the year.  Aside from using the vaca mode, how can I get my unbelievably high rate down?  I don’t need 800 mps of speed, yet lowering all the way to 75 is only $10 a month cheaper.  Any other options only save $.01 a month, all with long term commitment.  I don’t need 185 channels, but reducing to about 120 only saves $.01 a MONTH with a long term commitment. My rate is $223 a month now, $60 more than in MA.

I won’t switch to Comcast in MA because of high rates here. Verizon says they don’t offer services at my condo in Port Charlotte.  Anyone know why?

I am next contacting my state to see why the limitations unless I get a much better rate.  I am feeling hijacked.  I am a senior with likely income too high for $30 credit, yet still struggling to pay this bill each month. Never had ANY company come close to this rate at any location before now.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_fkf751 We appreciate your time in reaching out here on our Xfinity Forums. Without knowing the services you have, it sounds like you may be seeing an increase to some fees associated with your bill. Typically if you are in an agreement the base price for your services will not change, but equipment and other taxes and fees are subject to change. I'd be more than happy to take a look at your account and see if we have any options to help you reduce your bill.

Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.
