How do I check the status of my ticket?

I ordered Xfinity on July 9 this year, and an underground cable still hasn't been installed for me. My area has experienced numerous thunderstorms recently, and I'm worried. I reached out to customer support and they said they'd escalate my case and gave me a ticket number to track it. I can't find a solution to my situation or for tracking my ticket without going through the IVR again. At this point, I want to request credit for the days that the cable hasn't been installed past the promised deadline (up to 14 business days).
