How Can I Pay My Bill In Full?

I currently pay each month through auto-pay. I would like instead to pay my full year's bill in-full right now.

Also, just to provide feedback, Xfinity may in fact have the worst customer service of any organization I have ever experienced. I've spent hours trying to get ahold of someone on the phone to resolve what should be a very quick and simple process. The automated phone system brings you around in loops and wastes your time until you get frustrated enough that you simply give up. What kind of reputable organization would have this sort of system? Certainly Xfinity has enough money coming in every month to hire a team to handle customer service calls.

Even the online 'Xfinity Assistant' simply brings you around in loops.

Why is Xfinity doing this to their loyal customers?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Forums. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience.

It is not recommended however if you would like to make an overpayment to which it would create a credit on your account you may.

Thanks for your response Ashley, I appreciate it!

To help me better understand and make an informed choice, why is it not recommended? I'd love to pay the full contract (1-year) right now and then not have to worry about it until next year.

If there is a credit on the account and say you move or cancel the account the funds would not be returned the way it was provided. Credits on the account would be refunded in a form of a check.

And no problem, it was a pleasure assisting you.

@user_8d678c Just an FYI, if you pay for a year, you'd be basing that on your current billing statement.  However, over the course of a year, your statement may contain increases in equipment fees, Broadcast and Regional Sports fees, taxes, and surcharges.  Those can really add up quickly.  So, if you do pay for a year I suggest that you keep track of your bill by checking online frequently to make sure you have the credit that you are expecting.  😉

I see. When I signed my 1-year contract, my understanding was that it truly was a contract - that I agreed to pay a set amount and Xfinity agreed to charge me a set amount - not that they would add additional fees over time.

I'll keep an eye on this. Thanks for the information.

@user_8d678c Your agreement was for the packaged price and not the fees.  Your package price shouldn't change.  Unless otherwise stated in your contract, the fees are separate.  So just a heads up there.  👍🏼
