Home Security Bait & Swith
After having been quoted the now defunct prices for the Xfinity Home Security $10/$35/$45 per month (I ordered Protection Pro @ $35 per month) my bill comes and it’s $55 per month. Surprise!!! To make matters worse, it took customer service and me over an hour to figure out what was going on because Xfinity is still advertising the “old” prices everywhere.
I understand the need to raise prices. I don’t like bait and switch to the point that the old rates are still being actively advertised. I will likely consider an offer I was sent by ADT over the weekend. I can sell my Xfinity equipment on eBay or something if need be.

At this point I'm so frustrated that I may just file complaints with the DC Attorney General and the public utilities commission, considering that Xfinity is still advertising the lower prices on its website yet is charging higher. Not sure what else to do at this point.
