HELP I Stopped / Discontinued service , do NOT owe Xfinity Comcast any money and am getting calls from Eastern Account System Collection

HELP ! I Stopped / Discontinued service , do NOT owe Xfinity Comcast any money and am getting calls from Eastern Account System Collection !

Hello Xfinity Support,

I stopped service on 1/7/26 and my Internet service was paid in full by autopay through 1/8/26.  I also have returned my Xfinity TV box to the Sunnyvale Xfinity Office.

I have called Xfiity Support to confirm on Jan 7th with confirmation # 1002099419652027 and was assured my bill would be cleared in the next billing cycle.  It was not and and as of today my account shows past due amount of $55.54.

I have now called three times and have yet another confirmation from April 13, 2026 ECM0021121293 assuring me yet again that the incorrect balance due of $55.54 would cleared.

I am still getting calls from Eastern Account System Collection !

Do I have to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency and Call ABC 7 on My Side and make a big fuss or can someonw at Xfinity PLEASE HELP by clearing my account /.

Thank You,

Paul S

Unfortunately @user_1faa4c the charges has been looked over and are valid. We will not be able to remove the charges at this time.

The charges are NOT valid.  My account was paid in full through 1/8/26 and I cancelled service on 1/7/26 and have confirmation number from Xfinity to prove it.

Your statement is not correct.

Is there anyone on this forum that can help ??

I am a very unhappy customer.

If you look at my billing history you would be able to verify what I am stating.

To discuss payment and get full detail of your account, I will need you to send me your name and the address to your account in a Direct message.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
