Has to be a scam
I’ve had Xfinity for a little while but something arose a few months back where I had to leave where I was staying. I contacted Xfinity let them know to temporarily disconnect my services. Paid my balance. And that was that. I start getting calls saying I owe a balance I chat through the app with someone they apologize said they will have it removed and put the account on hold. Then I start getting calls again. Call them speak to a representative who says that the last guy didn’t do anything no notes no nothing he gets his supervisor they come up with a solution temporarily suspend my account and say they put in the request to remove the balance and said he made sure to put a note. And now this week I’ve been spammed literally every 30 minutes with calls from comcast and emails and text saying it’s being sent to collections it’s going to affect my credit that I owe them $800 but they will give me a $400 credit and all this [Edited: Language]. I call and a representative is speaking absolute nonsense so I ask to speak to her supervisor which she does so and supervisor tells me that I have to pay $300 no way around it that because they didn’t go ahead and do their job I have to pay for it because they didn’t add their notes because they didn’t do what they said I’m responsible for it. I’ve been staying in a hotel saving to get into a place finally have enough money I can’t afford $400 on a [Edited: Language] bill I planned on sticking with Xfinity for a long time but I won’t after this because they can’t get it resolved. Losing out on me having Xfinity for years over $400 that should’ve never been charged.
