Grace Period

Hello, my bill is due and I don’t get paid again until next week. Do you offer a Grace period or will my service be interrupted by then? Please advise. Thank you!

Hey there, @user_0d2668. I am proud to work for a company that understands that life happens, and at times we just need a bit more time. If your account is current, but has a balance due, then you do have a bit of time. Basically, your account is not viewed as past due until the next bill is generated. If your account is past due, and you have received a notice of disconnection, your account may be qualified for a Payment Arrangement. Payment Arrangements are available on qualified accounts. The qualification are as follows:

  • Account is delinquent (has a past due balance).
  • Account has been made current at least once before making a Payment Arrangement.
  • Account has been made current since last Payment Arrangement.
  • Payment Arrangement must include the entire past due balance as of the payment date, not the date it was initiated.
  • Scheduled payment with a bank account or credit/debit card is required if the payment date is on or after the soft disconnection date.

A Payment Arrangement can be scheduled through My Account (either at the website here https://www.xfinity.com/, or in the Xfinity My Account App which can be downloaded here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/get-my-account-app). You can also schedule it by phone using the automated phone system at 1-800-266-2278 (1-800-COMCAST).

Please let us know if you need additional assistance.
