Global travel pass options

I am travelling to Scotland and It seems to me the cheaper option is to switch to a plan like mobile plus which includes Global travel pass for the month, rather than paying $10/day for global travel pass on my current unlimited plan, then switch back to the basic unlimited plan I have when I get back from vacation . Am I correct and is it ok to switch plans on a per month basis like this?

The concern is not "Community Center" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_cs8etw, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. To answer your question, yes, you can make that change for the month you are traveling internationally and then switch it back later. In case you need the pricing, here it is:

Premium Unlimited plan
- Global Travel Pass is included at no extra cost
10 GB of high‑speed data per billing cycle
- After that, speeds slow to up to 14 Mbps

Unlimited or By the Gig plans
- Global Travel Pass can be added
- 5 GB of high‑speed data per day
- Slower data speeds remain available after the high‑speed allowance

You’ll receive notifications when the pass activates and when your high‑speed data is used up, so there are no surprises.

For more details or setup steps before you travel, our article is helpful: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/global-travel-pass.
