Frustrated with Customer Service & Internet Only Options Not Being Offered

I have been a Comcast and Xfinity customer for a very long time and my bill went from the promotional bundle package of $99 monthly to $228.00 at most I paid $115 with taxes.  I've continued to pay my bill despite struggling to maintain and have contacted xfinity customer service numerous times with no resolve. I was made to believe the only way change my plan is by canceling completely for 90 days then come back as new customer.  Then was told someone would call me back from the Loyalty team, this never happened.  Life got in the way then I realized wait a minute I will not be treated as if I'm stuck and I have to pay over $200 a month for cable service.   All I need is an affordable internet only deal or package.  With so many options available I will have to look elsewhere.   What Tmobile is offering me I will be saving half of what I'm paying for xfinity now.

Hello @user_tc4oat we will always do all we can to help you! Have you signed into www.Xfinity.com to review deals? If you go to "Change Plan" after signing in you can review service options and plans available in your area. A majority of the time these are the same service options we will have access to as well. You should see internet service only options listed there.

The option for Internet only is NOT available.  I only have options for upgrading and adding to my service none of which I would like to do as I'm already paying and outrageous amount for a plan wherein I'm only utilizing the Internet portion of my package.  I currently also have 125+ channels & home phone.  Most of the channels that I watch have been removed or are now subscriptions based only on Comcast/Xfinity; therefore, I do not watch TV let alone 125+ channels on any given day.  My home phone is basically an ornament receiving spam calls all day.  I don't need an upgraded plan nor do I need to add to my plan.  If there is no option for internet only then Xfinity no longer serves me.  I will no longer pay this amount for cable/internet.

Also I was told by one of you agents (Heena) that the "Loyalty Team" aka "Retention" can offer me the Internet only option at a discounted price.  Was that information incorrect.

@user_tc4oat  Yes, you can work with us or our retention team. We'll always explore all promotions and service options with you. Just send us a Direct Message. We'll figure out why you can't see internet only options and get things figured out! Use the Direct Messaging icon at the top of the page to send your name and service address to "Xfinity Support." It's next to the bell icon on the right side of the page.

user_r3om9b Thank you so much for letting us know you are looking for internet-only options. If you already checked out Xfinity.com as stated above to see the options? No need to speak with anyone to check out what is available! If you don't mind getting support online here please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into options for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.

To expedite your request, we ask that you please include your name, the account holder's name (if different), and the service address.
