Frequent Outages in Our Internet Service
We have two recent extended outages lasting more than a day with our Xfinity home internet service in the Renton, WA area the last week or so. These internet services outages have occurred even though there has been no power interruption at our home. The outages are very inconvenient because the internet service is being used for remote work. We are very frustrated with the poor reliability of our service.
Why is our service so unreliable and what is the cause for the frequent outages?
In addition I am very disappointed with accuracy of the Xfinity updates. The Xfinity app status on the outage does not have accurate restoration times and does not indicate whether there is a crew onsite working on the outage. Sometimes it simply says "As soon as possible" for the restoration time. That is not really helpful. Can anything be done to improve this?
The outages were from December 12/04/2025 - 12/07/2025, and 12/08/2025 - 12/10/2025. I was able to receive a credit for the first outage. But when I tried to receive a credit for the second outage this is the response I got.
"Your account isn't eligible for a credit at this time
Sorry, your account has already exceeded the maximum amount of credits. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Why am I not eligible for a credit for the second outage. I would like to receive a service credit for the loss of service.
Thanks and Best Regards,

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
