SUBJECT: Failure to Honor "1 Year Free Mobile Line" Promotion
Dear Xfinity Team,
It saddens me to write this letter, as I fully believed in your offer and want to take it up.
I am writing to formally dispute the charges on my recent Xfinity statement for my new cell phone service line I added to the account.
I have been a loyal account holder for years with a reduced rate for the internet. I decided to switch offer only because I am on a budget and thought this was a great offer that I received in the app. My daughter made the switch for me. I am 83 years old and do not know how to use the application so she helped me.
However, while trying to move the same old number over on September 19th, 2026. We had to call for help porting the phone number over from TMobile.
That is when your customer service representative said we can not claim this offer as it was basically a figment of our imagination.
The man who helped us and gave us a Ticket number [Edited: "Personal Information”] said there was no record of the promotion and denied the discount. He also stated its tied to a specific speed and a legacy plan. Whatever reasons he stated he said he would escalate the dispute. Until now we have not heard back from you about this situation. They also said that there was an offer on an old or new phone line from [Edited: "Personal Information”] that was activated in error. With no usage on that line see attached billing statement. The bottom line is that my cell [Edited: "Personal Information”] was activated for a free offer, keeping my own phone and number.
I am requesting that you honor the application of the **"1 Year Free Mobile Line"** promotion to my account for 12 months like you advertised on the application I have.
If Xfinity chooses not to honor its advertised promotional agreements and fails to resolve this billing issue. I will immediately escalate this matter by filing formal consumer complaints with the **Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Thank you for your prompt attention to correcting this matter. Please do the right thing and honor your offers.

Hello undefined, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry for the confusion and concern caused by the mobile promotion and the unexpected charges on your account. We understand that you enrolled based on the offer shown in the app and have already reached out for help without receiving a resolution. We’d like to review the promotion, mobile line, billing charges, and previous ticket more closely to determine the appropriate next steps. For your privacy and the security of your account, if you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
