Fraud
My father has had continual problems with his xfinity service for the last year. We reached out to support and were told each time that he had to "pay up front so comcast would have the money to pay the tech." They asked for $100 one time, $220 another time, and $230 the third time, and we should have been suspicious but we really needed his xfinity service to work properly as he has a home phone and it needs to be working in case he has a medical emergency. All of those charges were taken out of his account, but when he got his current bill, it showed that those charges were attempted but blocked by the bank. However, someone got his money. Today we found out that paying up front is NOT required (we should have known that). Does xfinity know they have scammers working as their customer service reps? How do we report this?? We have already filed a police report and disputed the charges through his bank, but come on. There must be someone at xfinity that cares that this is happening to their customers. Someone? Anyone?
