Formal Billing Complaint – Request to Restore My $42.25 Monthly Rate
Dear Xfinity Customer Relations,
I am writing to formally dispute the increase in my monthly bill from $42.25 to $72.25 in October.
I have been paying $42.25 per month for the past several months, and I want my monthly rate to remain at $42.25. I do not accept this $30 increase without a clear explanation.
Please review my account, explain the exact reason for this increase, and restore my previous monthly rate of $42.25.
If Xfinity is unwilling to honor my previous rate, I will cancel my service and switch to another provider.
I expect a clear response and a resolution to this issue in writing. Please do not simply direct me back to the online chat without addressing my billing concern.

Good day user_7enlkl, and thanks for joining us in our community for help! I know how crucial it is to keep expenses down in cost now more than ever, so above all we always want to make sure you're getting the best rate possible for your services at all times 👍 If you've just seen a notable increase on your bill, it's likely you were on a promotion that recently expired, but more than that, Xfinity will never increase your rate without warning or reason, and all your cost changes are always detailed in your bill that is issued each month. Have you gotten a chance to review your statements after loggign into xfinity.com or the Xfinity app?
More information on how to find that can be found at xfinity.com/support/articles/viewing-your-bill-online-ecobill.
