Following Up on Ticket {"Edit private information}– Refund Not Processed

Hello,

I'm following up on a ticket that was created by supervisor Jafarali on August 5, 2026, regarding unauthorized mobile charges on my account.

Ticket Number: {"Edit private information}

Issue Summary:

  • On March 31, 2026, I contacted Xfinity to get a lower price for my internet.
  • The agent, Mallick, offered me a mobile line with a one-year "free" promotional plan. He told me it would be free for 12 months and that I could simply cancel it before the year ended to avoid any charges.
  • I explicitly told him multiple times that I was not interested in mobile service. Despite my repeated refusals, he continued to push me to accept the plan.
  • I eventually agreed based on his promises that it would be free for 12 months and I could cancel anytime.
  • I was charged for this mobile line from April through July 2026, totaling $154.13.
  • On August 5, supervisor Jafarali raised a ticket for a refund of $154.13 and told me the backend team would contact me within 5 business days.

Current Status:

It has now been more than 5 business days, and I haven't received any update via email or text.

Request:

I would appreciate it if an official employee could check the status of ticket ECM0024083593 and provide me with:

  1. A clear timeline for when the $154.13 refund will be processed.
  2. Confirmation that my Xfinity Mobile account has been permanently closed and no future charges will be billed.
  3. Consideration for a goodwill credit to compensate for the time invested and the inconvenience caused by this situation.

Thank you for your help.
