Faulty charge from Xfinity [Edited]
Hi!
I've been dealing with a faulty charge from Xfinity from back in mid August. I canceled services mid cycle and was to be refunded $114 (screenshots with agent), never got the money then next cycle was charged this amount. My services were canceled and I was paid up - there should be no charge. I tried calling a million times to no success so I opened a credit dispute which also went unanswered from xfinity. Now, my bill is 229$ (double the 114) and just spoke to a rep saying the entire bill was in error and comcast needed to waive but this was already in collections. I called 5 of the numbers/companies sent but and after landing the right one, they said I needed to take this up wit Xfinity.
Theres obvi a lot more context but thats the essentials.
I've wasted what feels like 90 hours to get no where, and now affecting my credit, all in comcasts error. Since I cant get this resolved with them I am wondering if anyone has had a similar issue / [Edited: "Solicitation"]? potentially looking for compensation.
Thanks!
