Fake Xfinity Billing Call

Good morning! Today I received a voicemail from "Xfinity" stating that my promotional discount of 50% was being removed today and to call the number on the voicemail to speak to someone about a new promotional rate. However, when I called, it was clearly a scam because he kept upping the "bonuses" if I made an agreement with him today. The phone number was [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"].

If you’re unsure whether the person on the line is an authorized Xfinity representative, hang up and call 800-Xfinity (800-934-6489).

To report fraud, scams, or bad business practices, consumers should go to reportfraud.ftc.gov. You can also find more safety tips on the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Consumer Advice website.
