Fake Promise

I chat with the customer agent on Feb 25 about my internet service monthly fee which raise from $50 to $89. After discussion, the agent got the approval that I can have same charge $50 per month with same plan starting from the coming bill. However, I checked my billing account today. It's same $89, I chat with the agent again. However, the agent can only provide $65 monthly fee with the same service even the agent apologize for the fake promise. Please advise

Hi there fellow user ,

    Last autumn , I received an email from Comcast/Xfinity regarding rate increases happening in January .  I hadn't thought about it after a while … your post reminded me to decrease my monthly bill , thanks ! 
    I have included a link for " Services & Pricing " dated February 2024  . Pages 2 & 3 contain internet service fees .  🗺️ The top of the first page may have my city location ~ signing in from xfinity.com will likely have your location  , or just change it on that page . 
    For what it's worth , my bill for internet , voice & TV just went from $207.00 to $305.00 , so I can definitely sympathize with you  . 😡

   Maybe the agent wasn't aware of the rate increases ?   I hope that you can get the help you need to make it work for you  .
