Extremely poor support experience, service issues & conflicting plan pricing

I am extremely frustrated with the customer service experience I had today while simply trying to lower my Xfinity bill after a promotion expired.

I spent a considerable amount of time with multiple chat representatives and received contradictory and inaccurate information about pricing, discounts, equipment charges, channel packages, and what my final monthly bill would actually be. One representative repeatedly tried to sell me faster internet after I specifically explained that I did not need faster internet and that my concerns were lowering my bill and improving the reliability and WiFi coverage throughout my home.

The final representative quoted me $85/month for 500 Mbps. At the same time, while signed into my Xfinity account, Xfinity's own website showed me a 5-year offer of $45/month for 500 Mbps and $50/month for 1 Gig. The Broadband Facts information also reflected the lower pricing. I have screenshots of these offers. Later, the website began showing completely different prices for the same plans.

More concerning, when I asked the representative to provide an itemized breakdown of a proposed $224.76 monthly bill, the numbers did not add up. I specifically asked whether my existing autopay and two-product discounts would continue and was told they would. When I questioned the math, I was then told the two-product discount was not included. I was also told I would receive "almost all" of my current TV channels without being clearly told which channels I would actually lose.

At that point, I declined to make any changes because I no longer had confidence that I was being given accurate information.

I have been an Xfinity customer for years, but I was already considering other internet providers before this billing issue. My internet connection consistently drops throughout my house, particularly on our mobile devices, despite currently paying for 800 Mbps service. I was hoping to address both the reliability/coverage problem and my increasing bill by changing my plan and adding Xfinity Pro.

Instead, the customer service experience today has made me seriously question whether I want to continue with Xfinity at all. I should not have to repeatedly catch pricing discrepancies and contradictory information while trying to understand what I would actually be purchasing. At this point, I am actively considering other providers rather than continuing my Xfinity service.

I would like an Xfinity employee to review my account, explain why Xfinity displayed the $45/$50 5-year pricing to me while I was signed into my account, and tell me the best available price for my Internet + TV service. I am also interested in Xfinity Pro if it can resolve the WiFi coverage issues throughout my home.

Before I agree to anything, I want a complete itemized monthly price showing the Internet price, TV package, equipment, Xfinity Pro, all applicable discounts, fees and taxes, along with confirmation of exactly which TV channels would change.

Please do not make any changes to my account without my explicit approval.
