Extra $50 One-time charges

I signed up for a $40 a month student discount WIFI package. But when I checked next month's bill today, I found that I had to pay $90, including $40 for Regular monthly charges and $50 for One-time charges. I don't know what caused the additional $50 in One-time charges, and I need someone to tell me the reason.

The Xfinity app can also be very handy in this situation. The My Account section has your billing statements. The PDF or downloadable version of your statement will show all the details of what makes up the total balance and any changes. This link shows how to view them.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
