Existing customer hoping for a better rate

Hi! We're paying $69/mo for 400 Mbps and own our modem. Chat offered 300 Mbps for $65, but I've heard some existing customers have gotten 300 Mbps for $50/mo with the 5-year guarantee. Is there any way we could get that rate? We'd love to stick with Xfinity. Thanks!
