Error by Xfinity employee re setting for Canada travel

I went on a cruise which included Canada.   I attempted online to add the $5/phone to my account but never got any notifications, so the next day, September 9th (2026), I went in person to the Xfinity store in Saint Clair shores, mi.   I explained what I needed and your representative sent me the link so he could access my phone.     He assured me that I was all set so I left the store

and went on my cruise which started sep 14th out of Boston headed to first Canadian stop Halifax.
so imagine my surprise and shock when I got a email on 9/18 that I had $106.92 of roaming charges.  The email gave me the opportunity to add the Canada service (again I thought your representative had already done so) which I did.

i called the 1-720-728-5462 service number when in the next port to complain but that person was clueless.

NOw that I am back home, yesterday I went back to the same store.   A different representative wasn’t really sure what if anything had been done on the previous visit.     The good news is He did explain however that my mobile plan was old and he upgraded me to a plan with full international usage for barely more than my previous plan.

the bad news is the store representative said they had no authority to cancel the data roaming charges.

I want the data roaming charges removed from my bill.    Your original employee screwed up twice - once by not giving me the Canadian service and a second time by not reviewing my plan and upgrading me before I left.

your system is very frustrating and I’m very disappointed in recent service.   Please adjust my bill.

thank you.
