Erroneous outstanding balance

I have been promised at least 4 times that my account would be rectified and I’m still showing an outstanding balance.  I tried to move my xfinity service when I moved in May but it is not available.  I returned my equipment etc in May yet no one seems to have cancelled my account so I am showing an outstanding balance of $400+.  Again I’ve contacted Customer Service - even speaking to a “supervisor” and each time I’ve been promised it would be removed
