Erroneous cancellation request

On July 30 and July 31 I received two separate emails stating that I had requested internet service disconnection. I have not done so. How can I ensure my service is not disconnected?

Welcome to the Xfinity Community Forums user_w1rmil, and thanks for taking the time to reach out! I completely understand being concerned with a disconnect email coming out of nowhere. The first thing I'd advise checking is the sender's email address to confirm that it's legitimate. We'd also be happy to make sure everything appears to be in order on our end as well! Please send us a direct message with your full name, name on the account (if different), and service address, and we'll dig in!

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

user_w1rmil, Thanks so much for your time. We are delighted that we could help with the cancellation issue by reactivating the account and with finding you a new promotion. Please be sure to reach out to us for any future needs by creating a new public text submission without your account information. Have a great day. 😀
