Erroneous Cancellation Request
Hello,
Today I received an email stating that I had made a cancellation request for my Xfinity plan, and it says the last day of service is today. I never made such a request, I live in an apartment unit, perhaps someone else mistakenly tried to sign on for a plan using my unit number? I would like to get the cancellation request removed.

Hello naomi_m, I apologize for the unexpected disconnection notification you received. We can certainly fix this for you. I think we are on the same page with this and this is a common thing that can happen at apartments. Thankfully the actual disconnect gets placed 10 days out so we should be able to just cancel the request. In order for me to help please send a direct message with your full name and address and we can get it fixed.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
