Equipment Rent and Plan Change

Hello, Thanks for your patience to spare time to read my issue. I have two issues:

1. I applied for new internet connection in Dec 2023 with 150mbps speed for 35$, with auto payment option. After all these days I realized that I have been charged 51$ ( i.e 15$ additional as rent for equipment), my bad. As in the introductory offer I was not supposed to be charged for rent until completion of 12 month. I request the support team to correct this error.

2. I need to downgrade my plan since I'm finding it very expensive to pay beyond 35$ for the internet. Kindly do the needful.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us about your plan. We can definitely take a look at what happened and how we can help. May I please ask that you send us a direct message with your full name and service address.

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

I currently have TRIPLE PLAY and my community has signed on with another contractor for Comcast basic Video and Internet. How much would it cost me to rent my DVR and upgrade to a premium package? package

user_olubkb Hey there. If your community signed with another contractor, I would ask your front desk if you will still be allowed to have Xfinity services.
