Equipment email

Can I talk to a real person please? I received an email saying I need to upgrade my equipment. When I  follow the link it says my equipment is up to date, then gives me a button that upgrade equipment and says I need a box that costs $9.99/month more. Do I have to pay more just to keep what I have?

@user_80de0c Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. I am not sure why the system is saying your billing would be increased and would be happy to look into this with you. To get started, please send our team a private message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account to get started. 

 

To send a "Direct Message" message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
