Ended service 4-5 years ago

I ended my service many years ago when I lived in a different town, I returned all of my equipment with the box and all. Now all of a sudden you guys are trying to tell me I have an overdue balance and it’s effecting my credit score. I was 19 at the time with no kids and I was respectful about cancelling. Now I’m 24 and have three kids and trying to buy a house but now I have Comcast putting non on existing bills, that I can’t even get the details for, into collections and it’s effecting me. Please stop. I’ve tried talking to the person who called me about it but they said they couldn’t do anything and I just have to pay and that’s not fair. I’m contacting you guys soon and it I seriously have to pay $70 from 5 years ago I’m taking it to court.

Hi @GunsFuu

We appreciate you for using the Xfinity Forum to share your concerns. I can understand why this would be frustrating. Especially if you thought the account had been taken care of and closed this long. I'd be more than happy to review your old account balance to confirm whether or not the charges are valid and if there is any way we can help waiving them or not.
