Email titled "Important update on your Comcast Business Mobile service"

I have had the simple home owner's Xfinity Mobile for a few years and it has been working fine.

This morning I received an email from "noreply@alerts.comcast.net" with the subject "Important update on your Comcast Business Mobile service" stating "We've upgraded your Comcast Mobile plan." The problem is I don't have any of Comcast (Xfinity) business services. I logged into my account and verified that I still have both the Internet and Xfinity Mobile.

Why am I getting such an email when I'm not a Comcast Business customer? I checked the bottom of the email to see if this is an advertising email, but it specifically states "This is a service-related email."

The email was sent to my non-Comcast email, which is where you usually send my billing emails.

Help?

dhd002 Good morning, and thank you for taking the time to reach out to our Xfinity Forums Team. I can see how this would be a bit confusing. I'd be happy to take a closer look into the email you received. When you get a moment please send a Direct Message with your name, the service address, and the email address you received the email to. I look forward to working with you today!

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
