Elderly Couple - Looking to Reduce Monthly Bill & Use Promo

Looking for ways to reduce our monthly bill as current monthly bill is over $250; I see promo's being advertised for around $109.99 for better triple play package then we currently have.

Not really getting the assistance that was offered. I was first old that there were not currently any promos available and it was suggested to wait to see if more offers become available before summer; then an offer savings a mere $17/month appeared. When we inquired about a double play promo advertised directly on Xfinity site (for tv and internet) and adding voice (at regular rate) which would provide us with internet, tv and voice at a much lower price we were told that "It's not possible" to add voice to a double play package - which make no sense to us other than Xfinity trying to get as much money from customers as possible.

Feeling frustrated.  Now looking at ditching Xfinity Voice for cheaper (better) VoIP provider and going w/ Xfinity Double Play as Xfinity policy won't let us add Voice service to Double Play Promotion.
