Eft/Echeck Return Fee, Request for possible waived fee

Hi there! I looked at my Xfinity bill for the month of February, and it shows that I have a one-time charge of $25 (echeck/eft return fee), and I looked it up and states it could be due to previous insufficient funds when paying or an account error. I am a college student and was home for winter break, and I was unable to pay the regular $55 while I was home. Would I be able to request to waive this fee for one-time only? I was unaware that I would get this fee, as I managed to pay the Wifi bill for last month and December just fine. Please let me know what solutions can be made. Thank you!

HI there, @user_ul2oqu! Congratulations on continuing your education! That's awesome! You are correct that the fee would be for a returned payment. That is charged when a payment is returned from the bank. That is a valid charge so we are unable to credit the fee. Your billing will always continue as normal unless you have a Seasonal hold set up or you requested to close the account. Our Seasonal holds run from 2-6 months so that may be handy during Summer break, https://www.xfinity.com/seasonal.
