EFT Processor Decline
Cannot pay my bill. I have it set for automatic payment with my bank information so i can get $10 off my bill. This worked the first month, now it isn't working and I get an error saying EFT Processor Decline. I contacted my bank and they said they never recieved a charge for this month, so its something with Xfinity. After using the Xfinity Assistant, it said that there's an outage in my neighborhood, and there's no agent available. After clicking the link they provided to the outage map, it said that only the outage is for Channel(s) and X1 TV. This shouldn't affect my internet, as I'm not paying for television service. I just want to get this fixed before my next bill. They are already charging me double since last months bill apparently didn't go through.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) I've been paying monthly Xfinity/Comcast with EFT from my bank for at least 25 years. I made a change to my cable channel line-up recently and immediately was FORCED into a Credit Card auto-pay situation. A. Why was I forced into Credit Card auto-pay; b. Why can't I continue with EFT; and c. How do I get the payment method changed back to EFT?
I've been with Comcast/Xfinity since Jan 1984, a DIAMOND member, and retired on a fixed budget. I find it "overbearing" that Comcast/Xfinity would force a customer into a credit card auto-pay situation, causing additional finance charges, on the end user (me and my family) and all without asking!
