eastern debt services

Hi Xfinity Support — I’m hoping you can help me with a past-due balance that was sent to Eastern Services. I had a sudden spinal injury and surgery in September. I’ve been recovering away from home, so I didn’t realize the account fell behind. It was my mistake, and I’m not trying to avoid it — I’m just asking if there’s any way Xfinity can recall the debt from collections so I can pay Xfinity directly and get the account back in good standing to avoid the impact on my credit. I’m moving back home soon and would like to continue service with Xfinity but do not know how to proceed. Thank you for any help you can offer.

@user_2on5xn I hope that your recovery has been speedy, we are sorry to hear that you've been injured. Our team would love this opportunity to help you review the account and see what is needed to continue services with us. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
