Downgrade in 2024? ACP concerns
Will i be able to downgrade internet by march 2024 before my 2 year plan expires in may? I read an article where the ACP (affordable connectivity program) would be in jeopardy if congress does not pass $6 billion dollar bill. Currently getting 123.90 with acp discount of 30.00 which helps some. If bill doesnt pass i have no choice but to exit the autopay option and resume manual control on how i pay the bill. Previous bill without acp was 153 a month. For those interested heres info on the article The link

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there! @kimochi177 That is a great question and the answer is yes, you can change your plan at any point even under contract, without penalty! The only time there is a termination fee is if you cancel all of your Xfinity services during your term limit, but if you decide a price point or your service levels no longer match your needs then you are free to find a new promotion at any point. It does not matter if you have been under contract for one day, one week, or one year! We take great pride in offering this level of flexibility to our wonderful customers!
