Disputed charge was listed on my statement but never applied to balance
Hi there,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this as calling has gotten me nowhere. I had a disputed charge credit show up on the previous payment period's statement in the form of -$90 with the following information attached to it:
"The disputed charges line shows recently disputed amounts
and does not represent a credit or refund. It is not included
in your balance due and will not be added to your automatic
payment. Details about your dispute are provided by email
or letter."
This $90 credit has been promised to my account now since April, and no action has been taken to actually move this along. When I called the representatives told me to not worry about this and that the credit would be applied to me before June. Low and behold, it is now June and my new statement has rolled over the $90 that is intended to be credit into my new bill, $84.80 + $90 = $174.80. The billing representative also told me to disable autopay temporarily while this is being sorted out, which as also increased my bill $10 because I am no longer getting that discount. All I want to have is my $90 credit so my statements can go back to normal and I can put it on autopay without having to think about it, but this issue has been persisting and Xfinity representatives have been giving me the run-around for months now.
Please help me fix my bill.
