Dispute of Unjust Fees and Harassment Over Cancellation Balance
Dear Xfinity Customer Support,
I am writing to formally dispute the charges you claim I owe for the cancellation of services upon moving out of my previous residence. I did not sign any contract that stipulated a cancellation fee, nor was I ever informed by any Xfinity representative that such a fee would apply should I choose to discontinue the service.
During the time I was your customer, my monthly charges were constantly increased without warning, requiring me to contact customer support each month to request a correction and receive a credit. This practice was frustrating and appeared to be an attempt to unjustly raise my bills without my consent, which I believe is not only unethical but potentially illegal.
Given the circumstances, I am requesting that you cease any further attempts to collect the claimed balance and confirm in writing that my account has been closed with no outstanding fees. Failure to resolve this matter will leave me no choice but to escalate the issue, including contacting relevant consumer protection agencies and seeking legal counsel if necessary.
Please confirm receipt of this email and provide a response at your earliest convenience.

I'm sorry to read that you have had so much trouble with the monthly billing as well at the termination fee that has been applied to the account.
